Our New Title Sponsor What a great ride! The Carroll County Century (1990-1994) and the West Georgia 100 (1996-2009) with their combined history of 28 years have come to be a community tradition. Every spring bicycle riders from all over the Southeast gather in Carroll County to tour some of the best country roads America has to offer. 2011 offers a special opportunity for riders to enjoy the rural roads of West Georgia because the Second Annual ROOPVILLE  RAMBLE is the day before the WG100.

The West Georgia 100 is organized and staffed by community volunteers. Road markings, rest stops, sag support are all provided by different community groups. This year the West Georgia 100 welcomes Boy Scout Troop 138 to its volunteer staff and REMAX as our title sponsor! Expect to see the 5 story hot air balloon at the start/finish (rides maybe!!).

**Cycle with the Senator** We are pleased to announce that Georgia Senator Bill Hamrick is our honorary starter AND will be riding with us this year. He was on the Senate Safety Committee and pushed to release, modify, and pass the improved HB101 and is a huge cycling fan. Here is your chance to give this guy a huge THANK YOU for supporting cycling!

Benefitting the Carrollton Greenbelt Project, this event holds promise for generations to come. As awareness of Carrollton's facility broadens, even more cyclists will come here to enjoy the sport.

Touring through beautiful Carroll County on your bicycle you will understand why this event has such a long history. Constantly rolling terrain over green farmland, great road surfaces, and low auto traffic make this ride a perrenial choice for those in the know. They also know that The West Georgia 100 can return every bit of challenge a rider is willing to put into it, with over 5000 vertical feet of climbing over 100 miles.

We have permission from the University to have HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES !!!

EVENT DETAILS
Day of Event Registration opens at 7:00am
Registration is $35 for Adults and $25 Under 12
Register by May 11 and SAVE $5
Riders under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Mass Start at 8:00am
Staging area is on the campus of the
University of West Georgia - Carrollton GA.
The start is a few blocks west of
Perpetual Motion Bicycles on Maple Street.
