The 2012 West Georgia 100 will NOT be held on May 27 as previously posted.
After taking over the event in 2011, a 'community organization' (name removed at their request)
There has been little response from their current leadership.
Should a new sponsor or other community entity express interest in the event,

completely reversed their position regarding their
2012 Ride Directorship
commitment to the West Georgia 100 and gave less than six weeks
notice of their
intention NOT to do any of the things ride directors do.
At this late date,
without any promotion, no flyers, and too few sponsors
there can't be a successful WGa100 at the end of this month.
a fall date could be possible.
